Norman Polovoy, Managing Partner

    Norman Polovoy graduated with Honors from the University of Maryland School of Law, and thereafter, served for three and a half years in the United States Army where he attained the rank of Captain. He was subsequently appointed a Commissioner of the U.S. Court of Military Appeals in Washington, D.C., where he served for three years. He returned to Baltimore where he practiced with a number of major law firms. Mr. Polovoy later was appointed as State Insurance Commissioner of Maryland and later as State Securities Commissioner. He was also appointed the first Director of the State's Consumer Protection Division and subsequently headed the Anti-Trust Division of the Attorney General's Office. He was appointed Deputy Attorney General of Maryland, a position he held for four years. Following his State Service, he has been actively engaged in the private practice of law. His areas of practice include business, corporate, leasing, and estate planning.
